The Senior Farmer’s Market Nutrition Program provides eligible, older adults, who are living on a limited income, $50 in coupons to buy locally-grown fresh fruits, vegetables and honey at participating farmer’s markets in the Billings area. The 2021 season kicks off in June and coupons may be redeemed through October.

Approved applicants receive information that encourages healthy eating. Adding fresh produce to our diet helps makes us healthier and helps support Montana farmers and gardeners.

How Do I Apply?

To download an application, visit the Adult Resource Alliance website at www.allianceyc.org or call the Senior Farmer’s Market Help Line at (406) 294-1580. Appointments are required. Regrettably, we are not able to accommodate walk-in inquiries.

Is There a Cost?

There is no cost to participate in the program.

Who is Eligible?

The Senior Farmer’s Market Nutrition Program eligibility is determined by age and

income. Eligible recipients must be age 60 or older. A person who is age-eligible must then meet the income eligibility requirement.

✔ Up to $1986/month for a one person household; ✔ Up to $2686/month for a two-person household; ✔ Up to $3386/month for a three-person household;

For each additional person in the household, add $700 to monthly income.
