PROLOGUE Wititi dance, is the authentic expression of the Colca valley’s cultures, Collagua and Cabana, where the music, the attires, the colors, the forms of flora and fauna, and customs of the Colca towns. By means of this publication “The Wititi: the Mythical and Symbolic Colca’s Dance”, we described in summary the stories than are passed from generation by generation about wititi; dance declared Cultural Patrimony of the Nation. The different pictures show the original attire that are preserved during generations the people of Caylloma province. This is an effort to preserve and promote the culture of Caylloma province and that allows us to be the second tourist destination of Peru.
