The campus is an en re city block and includes five-buildings that will provide 100% aordable housing for low and moderate income New Yorkers; from students to seniors to families.

NYCHA, QUEENS
NYCHA BUILDINGS is part of a mixeduse project in Long Island City that creates a pedestrian and bicycle friendly street with new community ameni es. The site is divided into four lots that are linked by crossings that provide ample opportuni es for social or solitary sea ng among the trees, which protect the adjacent urban condi on of the ac ve 21 street. A mix of dark and light brown enlivens the plaza and makes the circula on pa erns human readable. The circula on draws pedestrians into the walkway and guides them towards the buildings entrances, while the lighter-toned floors represent spaces for socializing and playing. Ravenswood Project is an engaging year-round community service, a vital asset to the downtown Astoria neighborhood, and a new vision of what the future of public housing can represent.
