With 13 individual properties and nearly 25,000 acres of woods, water, and recreational facilities, the HuronClinton Metroparks are one of the nation’s premier regional park systems .

Established as the Huron-Clinton Metropolitan Authority, the Metroparks is a regional special park district encompassing Livingston, Macomb, Oakland, Washtenaw, and Wayne counties, first approved in 1940 by the residents of the five counties .

Jimmy John's Field is a baseball field in Utica, home to four teams that play in the United Shore Professional Baseball League, an independent baseball league . It opened on May 30, 2016 . Jimmy John Liautaud founded Jimmy John’s in 1983 in Charleston, Illinois . Liautaud went on to build a franchise business that by 2016 had over 2,500 locations in 46 states . Jimmy John’s has been involved in the world of sports sponsorships for many years . Most notably, Liautaud and Jimmy John’s have a long-standing partnership in place with NASCAR Sprint Cup Champion Kevin Harvick . In addition to NASCAR, Liautaud and Jimmy John’s have sponsored many other local, collegiate, and professional sports teams around the country, including home town teams such as the Detroit Red Wings and Detroit Tigers . Jimmy John’s Field has a total capacity of 4,500 fans per game!
