We welcome you to share our charming Inn and Guest House with up to 35 of your friends and family in our well-appointed rooms and suites. Celebrate and enjoy your intimate dream wedding of up to 120 guests at Addy Sea. Our professional team of wedding experts including our inhouse chefs, event manager, and service team will provide you and your guests with a curated dining and event experience to remember for a lifetime.

Built in 1904, The Addy Sea Historic Oceanfront Inn offers twelve rooms, and recently added to the property, the adjacent Addy Sea Guest House includes an additional four rooms to share with your loved ones as part of the included two-night stay. Each of the sixteen rooms are unique and beautifully decorated and includes luxury room amenities.

The Property buyout can be paid for by the event holder as part of the wedding package OR payments can be made per room by the guests staying for the wedding. Your guests staying at the Inn will enjoy our much loved daily gourmet breakfast and a welcome teatime included in the room rates. Buyout rates are determined by your month and date and are available upon request.

Intimate weddings of less than 25 guests require the two-night buyout of the Addy Sea Guest House only and also includes our daily gourmet breakfast.

Buyout rates depend on the month and date. The cost of the buyout can be paid by the host or your guests can pay for their individual rooms.

FAQ'S

Are we required to book the entire property? Yes The property buyout may be paid by the hosts or guests staying at the Inn can pay for their respective rooms.

What buyout is required for a smaller event? Intimate weddings of 25 or fewer guests require the buyout of the Addy Sea Guest House (Four rooms).

Are children allowed to stay at the Inn? Yes. When a full property buyout consisting of the Addy Sea Historic Oceanfront Inn and the Guest House is contracted, guests of all ages are welcome.

Are pets allowed? While pets are allowed outside during the ceremony, they are not permitted inside the property or to stay overnight.

Can we provide our own alcohol? No. The Delaware Alcohol Control Board prohibits us from allowing outside alcohol be served on the property.

Do our guests get breakfast as part of their stay? Yes! Guests staying at the Inn will enjoy our gourmet breakfast each morning they stay with us

What is the maximum number of guests that can attend? 120

FAQ'S

Can you host our rehearsal dinner? Yes! We can host a casual welcome reception, rehearsal dinner, or cocktail party.

What about gratuity? A 20% gratuity is added to all food and beverage costs.

Do you host weddings year round? No. We do not host private events in January, July, or August.

How late can receptions go? Due to the Bethany Beach Outdoor Noise Ordinance, all outdoor activities including music, dancing, and congregating must conclude by 10 PM.

Where do our guests park? Wedding guests not staying at the property are provided a complimentary day-off parking pass one hour prior to the ceremony that is valid in the adjacent lot or pay-to-park metered spaces.

Booking and Payment Schedule Details

1) A $5,000 non-refundable deposit is due at contract signing

2) A 50% payment of the food and beverage balance is due six months prior to the event date

3) Schedule your menu tasting and complimentary overnight stay 6 months prior to the wedding date with our Event Manager

4) 3 months prior to the event date, the remaining Inn buyout fee or rooming list is due.

5) 14 days prior to the event date, the final guest and catering head counts are due along with the remaining unpaid room assignments and required $1,000 refundable security deposit
