Adam S. Plantz

As an active composer of concert art music, I find my creative interests revolve around the need to share music with others. Each new project is a new opportunity to explore our world in a unique and fascinating way. I believe the role of composer to be not only that of the thinker, the creator, but also that of educator and ambassador. I strive to reflect this idea not only through the realism of my creative output, but also in my endeavors in collegiate music education at the Univeristy of Houston and my collaborations with public arts outreach organizations as both administrator and lecturer/presenter.
