America modern day slogan lets make America great again’ was used by president trump

in (2016) to vitalise his election had much wider connotations over his presidency in his

four years in office and is considered a loaded phrase linked to racism in America. There-

fore its’ not readily known that this slogan was created I just in about the (1980s) and was

used successfully by president Ronald Reagan during his presidential campaign in (1980).

The slogan was used in a term to related the economic depression. Other campaigns used

a different term wording a other one is bill Clinton slogan “its time to change America”

which gives a patten of these slogan the definition that its sending to the voter a more of

recent times we seen one of most changing slogans as to be President barrack Obama

slogan of change of (2008) and his re-election in (2012) which was followed by “yes we

can”. I think both are very similar but they are also sending that message of hope to

people. one of the most iconic posters is of shepherd Fairey (obey 2008) His poster at the

time gave a symbol of hope of this figure that was going to be the leader of the free world

at the time but showing how the poster represents the values of what his message was

bringing which is hope and the colours that come with it very bright valuable very looked

into peoples minds Visual leadership within the poster itself looking into the distance and

looking for an answer is how I see the post at self it’s uplifting but I also think he’s trying to

for generations to come looking back on it and showing that time in that period that things

are changing with the slogans message self it’s one word and it’s very powerful which I

think he wanted to create and which is wife also think you’ll be remembered for but it’s also

it’s moment in time that when you look back it’s not just about the slogan itself but it’s also

about what the message is representing
