RGB LED DECOLIGHT & SMARTLED DECOLIGHT A FOURTH DIMENSION OF AN INSTALLATION – TIME. We have introduced controllable colour changing lighting into our Decolight product line. It is now possible to lift the designs onto a whole new level, a fourth dimension is added to your installation – time. It is not static anymore, the installation is changing and even moving in a sense. It is now possible to achieve control over color and animation of lights on winter lighting projects on different levels. Here we explain the differences between our two product lines RGB LED Decolight and SmartLED Decolight
RGB LED DECOLIGHT This product has 7 built in colors and even some color changing and flashing effects. There is no complicated controller array to think about - just plug in the lights and make a choice between the existing colours and effects by using the included remote. RGB LED Decolight is best for installations, where the lights are static or flashing and where there is a need to choose from the 7 preset colors for example each day or each month. If you need animated lights with more controlling possibilities, we suggest using SmartLED Decolight.
From the remote you have the following possibilities: ● Choose from 7 static colors (neutral white, red, green, blue, light blue, magenta, yellow) ● Turn on a static multicolour effect ● Turn on and off a random white flashing function ● Turn on and off a few different color changing effects and fullflashing effects ● Change the speed of the color changing and fullflashing effects
SMARTLED DECOLIGHT This product line includes lights and controllers which enable you to have full control over each LED. It means you can make animations where each LED is a pixel. You can have whatever color you like by adding Red, Green and Blue light to each other (RGB). Moreover you can create animations and control an installation as one synchronized project. For example a street that has waves of colour moving up and down the street. So SmartLED Decolight is best for colourful projects where you need to do one or more of the following: ● Mix your own colors (vs 7 preset colors of the RGB LED Decolight) ● Create animations with moving colours ● Control the animated project as a single synchronized product/street/room etc The effects are stored in a controller box on an SD-card. To switch to a next effect file on the card, you can simply push a button on a controller. The product ships with included effects but it is also possible to order custom made effects, which means we can map out an installation and our designers can produce the effect keeping in mind the clients special requests. These effect files can be sent via e-mail and uploading to the controller’s SD-card is done using a computer. A free PC app is also available to enable the client to make their own effects.
