A new horizon beckoned in 2012 when Adam Reeve transitioned to St Maarten, undertaking roles as General Manager and Director at the prestigious Out Island Charters. Under his watch, the firm burgeoned, breaking revenue records and emphasizing his forward-thinking and determinative leadership. However, the allure of home was ever-present. Upon his return to St. Thomas in 2016, he faced a maelstrom of challenges, from the devastating aftermath of Hurricane Irma in 2017 to the sweeping effects of the 2019 COVID-19 pandemic. Yet, he exhibited unparalleled resilience in these trials, steadfastly working towards business revival and innovation. Now, with over two decades of maritime experience, he is Chukka's Marine Operations Manager and Product Developer. With the 2023 transition of Cruise Ship Excursions under Chukka's banner, he remains an industry trailblazer, with ambitious blueprints for an upscale private boat charter venture on the horizon. Beyond his business pursuits, his altruistic side shines through his charitable initiatives. Recently, he has been fervently guiding local youth on marine vocations, laying the groundwork for their future endeavors. His downtime is harmoniously spent in the ocean's embrace, partaking in passions like kite surfing, boating, and fishing. For Reeve, the sea represents more than work—his muse, solace, and lifelong love.
