Cry Room/Nursing Mother s
Room A glass enclosed sound proof room is available at the back of the upper level of the worship center for parents with children or nursing mothers. It contains a direct audio feed from the sound booth.
Nursery: 10:00 AM Our well staffed nursery is available on the upper level across from the Worship Center doors for children who are infants to 36 months.
Children s Church 10:00 AM provides an age appropriate learning environment for our families in Classroom #3 on the lower level. Kids age 3 – 6 years old are welcome to participate. Please arrive prior to the start of service.

40 Days of Prayer
Today we start week 4 of the 40 Days of Prayer Series. Every week we will kick off the theme of the week with our sermon on Sunday. The rest of the week you will have a daily prayer guide that follows the theme for the week. This year’s theme will focus on various aspects of the Lord’s Prayer. The Alliance has prepared daily devotionals that will help lead you through the 40 days. These devotional packets are available to be picked up at the Welcome Center today.
New Adult Bible Study
Next Sunday Pastor Chris will be leading a five part Sunday School series, that addresses one of the greatest threats to our spiritual lives: hurry. Instead of allowing our calendar and screens to control our lives, Jesus offers us a new rhythm of life, overflowing with grace, peace, and beauty. This study on the book The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry by John Mark Comer. This class will meet in classroom 5 Sunday mornings at 9:00am. Signup sheets for this class are at the Welcome Center.

After doing so, tear it off and bring it to the Information Center in the lobby to receive a complimentary gift bag and information about the ministries of our church.
If you are new to Alliance Church of the Valley or would like to update your information don’t forget to fill out the connection card and put it in the offering box at the Welcome Center. We are in the process of updating the Church Directory and we would like everyone's information current.
Get Connected
There are so many different ways to get connected to ACV. We offer several spiritual growth opportunities on Sundays and Wednesday nights. There are Sunday classes for all ages, including a new Adult class taught by Pastor Chris and a Women’s class taught by Cammie Bevens. There is something for all ages on Wednesday nights as well, from AWANA for children, Student Ministries from grades 6-12, and Adult studies. If you are interested, please fill out a Connection Card and take it to the Welcome Center, and we’ll fill you in on the details, or contact us at the office for more info.

J.O.Y. Group (55+)
Thank you for all who attended the J.O.Y. Group potluck last week. The next luncheon will be held February 16th.
Be In The Know
We put out an online weekly newsletter to keep everyone updated with coming events here at the church. If you would like to subscribe to the newsletter you can indicate it on the Connection Card and put in in the offering box or signup on the ACV website.
Prayer Chain
If you have a request for the prayer chain, please contact the office either by phone or email, or fill in the Connection Card. We have an amazing and loyal team of Prayer Warriors who will keep your requests in their hearts and prayers. If you would like to be included in the Prayer Chain and become one of these warriors please indicate that on the Connection Card and put it in one of the Offering boxes.
Parsonage Windows Fund
As we pray and anticipate another Youth Pastor in the near future, we would like to accomplish some much needed repairs and renovations to the parsonage. There are several projects to be done, but the first priority is to replace the large windows, with costs around $34,000. We have a special designated fund set up above our normal general fund of tithes and offerings. Please consider donating to this special project labeled Parsonage Window Fund. Connecting with the Community Open Arms Dinner
Open Arms Dinner will be this Thursday, January 26, from 5:00-6:30pm. Don’t forget to invite your friends and family to dinner. We can’t wait to see you there!
Walk For Life
The annual Walk For Life will be happening today at St. Joseph’s in Osceola. This event starts at 3:00pm. More information on the bulletin board. Youth
Ministry Youth Pastor Search
As we continue to prayerfully search for our next Youth Pastor, please join in praying for God’s guidance and provision. Pray that the Lord will continue to bless our current volunteer leaders as they give direction and oversight to our Student Ministry. Let us also give thanks for the ways God has been working amidst our teens, and drawing them closer to Jesus.
