Cry Room/Nursing Mother s

Room A glass enclosed sound proof room is available at the back of the upper level of the worship center for parents with children or nursing mothers. It contains a direct audio feed from the sound booth.

Nursery: 10:00 AM Our well staffed nursery is available on the upper level across from the Worship Center doors for children who are infants to 36 months.

Children s Church 10:00 AM provides an age appropriate learning environment for our families in Classroom #3 on the lower level. Kids age 3 – 6 years old are welcome to participate. Please arrive prior to the start of service.

40 Days of Prayer

Today we start week 3 of the 40 Days of Prayer Series. Every week we will kick off the theme of the week with our sermon on Sunday. The rest of the week you will have a daily prayer guide that follows the theme for the week. This year’s theme will focus on various aspects of the Lord’s Prayer. The Alliance has prepared daily devotionals that will help lead you through the 40 days. These devotional packets are available to be picked up at the Welcome Center today.

- We are so glad you ve come this morning to seek the Lord Jesus Christ and worship Him together with us. Please take a moment to complete the Connection Card attached to this worship folder. After doing so, tear it off and bring it to the Information Center in the lobby to receive a complimentary gift bag and information about the ministries of our church.

Starting January 29th Pastor Chris will be leading a five part Sunday School series, that addresses one of the greatest threats to our spiritual lives: hurry. Instead of allowing our calendar and screens to control our lives, Jesus offers us a new rhythm of life, overflowing with grace, peace, and beauty. This study on the book The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry by John Mark Comer. Signup sheets for this class are at the Welcome Center.

There are so many different ways to get connected to ACV. We offer several spiritual growth opportunities on Sundays and Wednesday nights. There are Sunday classes for all ages, including a new Adult class taught by Pastor Chris and a Women’s class taught by Cammie Bevens. There is something for all ages on Wednesday nights as well, from AWANA for children, Student Ministries from grades 6-12, and Adult studies. If you are interested, please fill out a Connection Card and take it to the Welcome Center, and we’ll fill you in on the details, or contact us at the office for more info.

Women’s Ministry Dinner of Six is being held on January 21st, and you are not going to want to miss it! This is the first Women’s event of the year, and there is still time to sign up! You can register for this event online or the signup sheet is located at the Welcome Center.

Parsonage Windows Fund

As we pray and anticipate another Youth Pastor in the near future, we would like to accomplish some much needed repairs and renovations to the parsonage. There are several projects to be done, but the first priority is to replace the large windows, with costs around $34,000. We have a special designated fund set up above our normal general fund of tithes and offerings. Please consider donating to this special project labeled Building Completion Fund. Thank you

Save the date! The No Regret Men’s Conference will be February 4th, 2023. There is a sign up sheet at the Welcome Center or online registration available on our website.

The annual Walk For Life will be happening on Sunday, January 22, at St. Joseph’s in Osceola. This event starts at 3:00pm. More information on the bulletin board.

Youth Ministry Youth Event

Last Chance! The High School Retreat, Oasis will be January 27-29th. Cost will be $120 and registration needs to be in to Pastor Chris today.

Youth Pastor Search

As we continue to prayerfully search for our next Youth Pastor, please join in praying for God’s guidance and provision. Pray that the Lord will continue to bless our current volunteer leaders as they give direction and oversight to our Student Ministry. Let us also give thanks for the ways God has been working amidst our teens, and drawing them closer to Jesus.
