Nursery: 10:00 AM Our well staffed nursery is available on the upper level across from the Worship Center doors for children who are infants to 36 months.
Children’s Church 10:00 AM
provides an age appropriate learning environment for our families in Classroom #3 on the lower level. Kids age 3 – 6 years old are welcome to participate. Please arrive prior to the start of service.

We are so glad you’ve come this morning to seek the Lord Jesus Christ and worship Him together with us. Please take a moment to complete the Connection Card attached to this worship folder. After doing so, tear it off and bring it to the Information Center in the lobby to receive a complimentary gift bag and information about the ministries of our church.
Annual Meeting & Ministry Celebration On September 11 at 6 p.m., everyone is invited to attend our Annual Meeting & Ministry Celebration in the Sanctuary. Much like our recent 100 Year Anniversary, we will look back over the last year and praise the Lord for His goodness and the impact of our ministries. Plus, we will look forward to what we're praying and trusting God for in the next year. Members will also have a chance to vote on the budget that will enable us to accomplish our vision and mission, and vote for the Nominees for several leadership positions. The budget proposal and nominees are listed on the Bulletin Board by the front doors before you leave.
Women’s Bible Study A new women's bible study will be starting Thursday September 15th. We will be meeting from 1:00-3:00 PM weekly at ACV and will be studying the book of Romans. More information and sign up at the information desk. Wednesday night Adult Studies Beginning September 14th, there are 2 options of adult studies to plug into and make some great friendships while studying God's Word. Pastor Chris will resume the Men's Study at 3 Arrows Coffee Shop from 7-8 p.m. with a study by Louie Giglio called "Goliath Must Fall", and Pastor Jeff will begin the Adult class in the lower level Room D from 7-8:15 p.m. studying the book of Acts with Louie Giglio. Garden Helpers We are looking for additional help with our beautiful church flower gardens. If you are able to help, please sign up at the information center. Sharon Ilgen is leading our flower gardens and will be in contact with new volunteers about responsibilities. Thank You for helping make our flower gardens beautiful. Joy Group We are looking ahead to September 15th, which will include a “Special” catered lunch. A signup sheet will be available soon. Please make every effort to attend as this will kick off our fall program.
MASK’d – Meeting And Seeking Kingdom Direction…with prayer. Join us on Sunday, September 4th, at the Youth Center from 9:15-9:45 to pray for our nation. No special skills required! Just a willing heart.

Open Arms Organizational Meeting… For all those who signed up or are still interested in volunteering for Open Arms we are having an organizational meeting today after the worship service in the Great Room. Hope to see you there! Open Arms Dinner The first Open Arms dinner will be held September 22, from 5:00-6:30 PM.
Connecting with the Nations
A Trip to Israel Walk where Jesus walked and discover the Bible in a whole new way! A trip is being planned for February 6-15, 2023 to explore the Holy Land. Our goal is to have our team in place by September. If you have interest in this lifechanging experience, contact Pastor Chris.

Children’s Ministry
AWANA The first day of AWANA will be September 14th. Online registration is now available on the ACV website. AWANA is for ages Pre-K to 6th grade. We are looking for volunteers to help make this another successful year. If you are interested in volunteering there is a signup sheet at the welcome center and Sharon Barczak will get in touch with you. AWANA Staff There will be an AWANA staff meeting Saturday, September 10th 9:30-Noon. Please mark your calendars!
Youth Ministry
Youth Group Join us for the kick off of Youth Group September 7th 7:008:30PM. This is for ages 6th grade-12th grade. It will be a fun night filled with food (so come hungry), games, and fun. Bring a friend! Middle School Retreat Save the date! The district middle school retreat is coming up. It will be held at the Silver Birch Ranch October 7, 8, 9th. More information to come.
