100 % ORGANIC COTTON
GOTS CERTIFIED
PET RECYCLED
We use 100 % organic cotton. This means that, unlike conventional cotton, we do not use any chemicals or pesticides that harm the health of the farmers and the environment. By processing organic cotton, 91 % less water, 62 % less energy and 46 % less CO2 is used in comparison to conventional cotton.
The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is recognised worldwide as the leading standard for the processing of textiles made from organic natural fibres. In order to receive the certificate, all suppliers, from cultivation to the finished shirt, must meet the strict requirements, which include not only ecological but also social criteria.
For our Beanies we use REPREVE fiber made from 100 % recycled PET. Also the ripstop elements of our tops are made of 100 % recycled fabric. PET recycling has double the benefits: less waste is produced and fewer natural resources are needed to produce a finished product. In addition the manufacturing process is gentle on CO2 emissions.
