Father James and Pani Kathy Dutko were honored by their family and the faithful of Saint Michael Church in Binghamton, New York on the occasion of their 50th Wedding Anniversary and Father’s 50th Anniversary of Ordination in February.

Altar Boys were given a special blessing at the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy during the Arch-pastoral visit of Metropolitan Gregory in February to Saint Mary Church in Endicott, New York.

Father Michael and Pani Deborah Zak were honored by the faithful of Saint Nicholas Church in Homestead, Pennsylvania on the occasion of their 50th Wedding and Father’s Ordination Anniversary in May.

Kristofer Carlisle bowled a perfect 300 game at the National A.C.R.Y. Bowling Tournament hosted by Camp Nazareth and Saint John the Baptist Church in Hermitage, Pennsylvania (the first perfect game in the history of the Diocesan Bowling Tournament).

The Annual Diocesan Altar Boy Retreat was held again in person in June at Christ the Saviour Seminary and Cathedral in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. The boys are shown above during their day at the Saints Peter and Paul Church in Windber, Pennsylvania which always includes some time by the pool! Voices from across the Diocese gathered together to sing joyful noise to the Lord during the Great Vespers on Saturday afternoon and the Divine Liturgy on Sunday morning at the National A.C.R.Y. Convention hosted by Saints Peter and Paul Church in Rockaway, New Jersey.

Delegates from Saints Peter and Paul Church in Rockaway, New Jersey and Saints Peter and Paul Church in Windber, Pennsylvania take part in one of the business sessions of the A.C.R.Y. during the National Convention hosted by the Rockaway chapter in September.

Over 250 faithful and clergy filled Saint John the Baptist Church in Perth Amboy, New Jersey in early September to mark its 125th Anniversary of Parish Ministry.

Aubrey Kisoon (above right) was tonsured to the Lectorate and was ordained a Sub-deacon. Reader Maurice Cyril Chen (above left) was ordained a Sub-deacon. Sub-deacon Michael Luciuk (to the right) was ordained to the Diaconate. These were performed by Metropolitan Gregory at Saints Cyril and Methodios Church at Camp Nazareth. The three traveled together in October with many faithful and their families (pictured) from Saint Silouan the Athonite Mission in Toronto, Ontario.

Saint John the Baptist Church in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania celebrated their 90th Anniversary of Parish Ministry together with Metropolitan Gregory in October. (to the left) His Eminence was greeted with the Hand Cross by Parish Priest, Father David Urban prior to the start of Divine Liturgy.

The weekend’s events continued with these young ladies (to the right) greeting His Eminence with flowers and all the young people in attendance (below) at the celebratory banquet at a local restaurant.

The 2022 Diocesan Sobor XXV hosted by the Johnstown Deanery from October 16-19 at the Holiday Inn, Christ the Saviour Cathedral, and Cathedral Education Center in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.

During a Pastoral Visit to Saint Nectarios Mission in Lakeland, Florida, in November Metropolitan Gregory was able to bless newly installed hand-painted icons on the icon screen. He was then honored at a special banquet prepared by the faithful. He is shown together with some of the children who greeting him with flowers.

(to the right) One of the founding parishioners played some Christmas Carols on the violin and the parish young adults (below) spent some quality time with His Eminence.
