Selecting the right wood is the first step to ensuring quality. The wood is dried and seasoned until it reaches the optimum level of humidity to guarantee the stability of the furniture and the workability of this living, natural material. As well as being beautiful, solid wood brings a timelessness to any home and reflects the perfect balance of man and nature.
Construction. This is where a genuine feel for the wood combines with centuries of furniture - making tradition. Superior joinery, dry - mounted, floating chamfered panels for drawer bottoms, drawer backs and wardrobes which allow freedom of movement and protect the structure. Inlays and carvings finished entirely by hand.
Polishing and finishing. The polishing phase can have as many as fourteen different stages. Among these, colouring using rare clays and water, the application of a generous layer of natural antique wax polish and hand polishing using woollen cloths. Each piece is finished with the finest accessories, handles, locks and keys.
