Thirty one Angels from the class of 2011 received the President’s Award for Academic Excellence. This recognition is awarded annually and is received from the President of the United States and the US Secretary of Education. It recognizes students who have achieved outstanding academic excellence. To be eligible to receive this award, a senior must have a 7th semester cumulative, weighted average of 90% or higher, a SAT I Critical Reasoning (CR) and Math (M) achievement combined score greater than or equal to 1300, or an ACT Composite score greater than or equal to 29.
