ACKNOWLEDGMENTS The author would like to acknowledge the guidance and support from various Health Systems 20/20 staff and especially from the Ministry of Health in Guyana, which graciously served as the pilot country for developing and implementing the stakeholder engagement process from beginning to end. The MOH proved to be excellent partners and receptive to the process. Health Systems 20/20 staff who were instrumental in developing the stakeholder engagement approach included Julie Doherty, who served as the team leader for most of the duration of the activity; John Osika, who served as the team leader for the Guyana Health Systems Assessment and was involved in every step of the process, and who also tested the validation and prioritization process in Zimbabwe; Fred Rosensweig, who provided substantive guidance and review throughout the process; and Eddie Kariisa, who provided invaluable guidance and also field tested the validation and prioritization steps in Lesotho. The author would also like to thank Meredith MacDonald Ferris from Training Resources Group, who with John Osika, conducted the validation and prioritization steps in Guyana; Mursaleena Islam, who was the Guyana HSA field team leader; and Danielle Altman for bringing the document to closure.
