Open for a little over three years, 1908 Lisboa Hotel is ideally located in the heart of Lisbon, in the revitalised Largo do Intendente, a square which has become an obligatory port of call for local residents and overseas visitors, from wherever they may come. On the corner of Almirante Reis and Largo do Intendente, the building designed at the beginning of the 20th century by Adães Bermudes has been converted into a boutique hotel with a modern interior. Its 36 rooms, Infame restaurant and Bar 1908 are now the three new protagonists of this 1908 Valmor Prizewinning building. With a capacity for 80 seats inside and 70 on the terrace - which also serves as an extension of Bar 1908 Lisboa - in the heart of Largo do Intendente, the Infame menu takes us on a journey through Portuguese flavors, with a cosmopolitan and contemporary approach. Chef André Rebelo brings some national references to Infame without ever closing borders. Bar 1908 Lisboa, whose space is marked by Bordalo II’s installation, has a selection of cocktails created by its resident barmen, also available in Infame, in addition to a very varied drinks menu.Both the restaurant and bar have an industrial atmosphere – due to the visible steel structure – that contrasts with the hydraulic floor tiles and the naturalist details. While “The Square Rooms” enjoy a view of lively Largo do Intendente, “The Avenue Rooms” face Avenida Almirante Reis, one of Lisbon’s key thoroughfares. Located on the top floor, “The Attic Rooms” are a set of three rooms and an exclusive lobby which can be either booked individually or together. “The King Rooms”, with around 50m2, and “The King of Dome”, the main suite with roughly 52m2 of space and access to the hotel’s emblematic dome, are the best option for groups, large families or for holding small events.
