Creating a personal monogram or logo with your initials, for example, A M. The logo should be able to scale, used with type to create lock ups and readable.

Overall, I think this project was short and concise which I appreciate and we were able to go in directions that were more personal to us. The deliverables were easy to understand and doable. For example, the animation, Behance post, process book and presentation were all able to tie nicely together.

Wedding Gothic bold used as the typeface.

Used wedding gothic typeface to connect and make a rectangular / wide form.

Flipped and adjusted the width of the A to match the M

Used my grid sketches and replicated the curves from the M to the A and attached.

Same process as # 6 but adding a stroke and space to divide the letters.

used Alfarn for the typeface and divided the A to attach to the M

Used rockwell for the type and divided the A to place on top of the M.

Used my grid sketches and replicated the curves from the M to the A and attached and elongated.

created two wider strokes connected with thinner strokes to create a form of both a and m.

Used my grid sketches and replicated the curves and lines for each character.

Wedding Gothic bold used as the typeface. took the stems of the m to create more closure.

created a circle with a square and cut out an angle. copied this to make the M and the layered the A and M shape to create form.

Used my grid sketches and curves to create the m and attached a cross bar to form an A.

used wedding gothic and made the m smaller to fit into the A. made the m the same width as the A.

created the “a” with squares and angles then took the shape and cut out a triangle to create an m.

used rockwell and attached the a to the m and got rid of the left stem of the m.

creating triangles to replicate m and a apexes. made the “a” the same size as the vertex in the “m.”

Similar to 11, I cut out and built shapes to then create an A and M.

creating same curves and using semi-circles to create the counter of the A.

#1 Lessened the vertical height.

#2 Lessened the vertical height and raise the crossbar.

#3 Lower the crossbar.

#8 Thicken stroke width.

#9 Made the stroke width slightly less than #8.

# 10 Round the strokes ends and corners.

# 15 Enclose open counter space.

# 16 Enclose all open space.

# 17 Take out crossbar and close counter space.

#4 Shorten the points or apexes of the M.

# 11 Flatten ends and round corners.

# 18 Add counter space detail and open.

#5 Shorten the apexes and lower the crossbar.

# 12 Sharpen corners and round ends.

# 19 Create a diagonal and eliminate curves.

#6 Make into a square: adjust the vertical and horizontal height and width.

# 13 Thicken stroke width and enclose counter space.

# 20 Move crossbar to the left and flatten corners.

#7 Raise the apexes to make a square, and crossbar.

# 14 Take out crossbar and double the counter space.

#1 Move the negative space or breaks- one for each side.

#2 Have negative move to the crossbar and to divide M and A.

#3 Move breaks to only break up M and A.

#6 Breaks only on the crossbar of the A.

#7 Shortened the M stems to crossbar.

#8 No breaks and thicken stroke width.

#4 Remove the M strokes to create closure.

#9 Extend the apex and vertex.
