Kristen admits she considered herself ready for the heavyweight action, until she actually filmed all the fighting scenes. as far as the recent scoops go, those on-set injuries only mean the big-screen result's going to be that much better. Siddharth: Vidya Balan MUMBAI: touted as an enigma on celluloid, ‘Dangerous ishhq’ happens to be Karisma Kapoor’s comeback film that deals with past life regression. the lady, who bid temporary good bye to the world of cinema, could have indeed waited a while longer to get back into action. Directed by Vikram Bhatt, this 3D film will make you wonder if you ever really wanted to ruin your vision. Karisma did all what she could to deliver her best but the story and a loosely woven preposterous plot has drained her efforts away. But ‘Dangerous ishhq’ has not helped her win the accolades of pulling of a stunner despite her stellar ‘zubeidaa’ like performance. Karisma plays four different characters across 5 centuries. her real time character Sanjana Saxena is a top model in town and is all set to get hitched to an industrialist rohan thakral, played by rajneesh Duggal. as all looks
wonderful and picture perfect, rohan gets abducted and Sanjana goes in search of her lover as she transcends into her past lives. it is here that we get to see Jimmy Shergill play acP Bharghav Singh, who is entrusted with the job of rohan’s whereabouts with the help of Sanjana’s past life ordeals. the film looks like that complicated piece of art work where art finds no mention and the work looks terrible to look at. Bhatt could have laid more emphasis on a good plot that could have convinced audiences to hold on to their seats. rajneesh Duggal is utterly disappointing while Jimmy Shergill couldn’t have done more to elevate the already submerging script. Divya Dutta is superb but we did wonder from where did gracy Singh pop up? ‘Dangerous ishhq’ looks like a hilarious spoof on Dr Brian weiss’ book rendered in a 3D format. ratings: can’t help it but just one. A visitor to Vatican City had a hilarious experience when he found the subject of a Raphael masterpiece had an uncanny resemblance to Hollywood hardman Sylvester Stallone. The Cardinal and Theological Virtues is a 1511 fresco adorning one of the Raphael Rooms at the Vatican. It depicts Pope Gregory IX approving the Vatical Decretals - with a spitting image of Stallone looking on. Harvard student Anthony Zonfrell, 20, who was on holiday in Italy with his family, spotted the hilarious doppelganger. "My cousin had told us about how she had seen it when she went, so we were on the lookout. As soon as we saw the painting, we knew it was him. My whole family thought it was hilarious. It could actually be a portrait of Stallone," the Daily Mail quoted him as saying. It is thought Raphael, who lived from 1483 until 1520, only sketched the outline of the fresco, with team member Lorenzo Lotto carrying out the 'Stallone' paintwork.When Anthony, who is from Massachusetts, returned from his holiday he uploaded the photograph to community website Reddit. Incredibly, the image was viewed more than 700,000 times - becoming the website's most popular page.
Salman the ‘Tiger’ is back MUMBAI: the first teaser of Salman Khan starrer ‘ek tha tiger’ was made available online on thursday night. Directed by Kabir Khan, the film stars Salman and Katrina Kaif in lead roles and has been produced by aditya chopra. the makers had initially decided to release the trailer on friday at movie theatres with ‘ishaqzaade’, a yash raj film. the tV and online version was to be released on Monday. owing to Salman’s popularity and general curiosity over the film, yash raj films decided at the last moment that they would release the teaser on youtube. needless to say, the teaser created immediate buzz online and has already crossed 1lakh hits on youtube. the excited director, Kabir Khan tweeted, “thank u for the overwhelming response to #ekthatiger teaser... there r so many tweets that today its impossible to reply individually... :-)(sic)." “youtube view meter jammed within 3 mins of launch, yrf server in danger of crashing, trending 15 mins after launch... that’s tiger for you :-)(sic)” an excited Khan tweeted moments after posting the link. the film is based on a raw agent tiger (played by Salman) and his love story. ever since Salman signed the film, there has been quite a buzz around it. the film is going to be Salman and Katrina’s first film after their alleged break up. it is also the first time that Salman is working with yash raj films, particularly aditya chopra.
