After renewing "The Big Bang Theory" through Season 10, CBS network and producing studio, Warner Bros. TV, have run into problems when it comes to the cast of the hit show. Deadline is reporting that contracts have yet to be locked in for the five core cast members, including Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki and Kaley Cuoco. This isn't the first time a paycheck has caused problems for the series. In 2010, the original cast renegotiated their salaries after the massive success of the show's first few seasons. Now, reportedly, there's been "little dialogue" between the two sides, although more communication is expected to happen as the film deadline draws near. While we're not sure how much the cast is asking when it comes to their new paychecks, Season 7 of the show saw Parsons, Cuoco and Galecki raking in $350,000 per episode. Deadline is speculating their new deal could see the actors reaching close to $1 million per episode for Season 8. Courtesy VIA HuFFINGtoN Post

N a clear message that he is in no mood to back down, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan on Saturday dared the paparazzi to continue with their ban on covering him and to make him apologise on the issue. “The good part is that the stand they (photographers) have taken, whether it is good or bad, loss or profit..It’s a stand and it should continue. I want them to continue with their stand so much so that it brings me down to my knees and makes me apologise to them saying ‘don’t destroy my career’,” Salman told reporters here at a promotional event for his upcoming film, ‘Kick’. Press photographers did not turn up at the event. “I did not start this issue. I would be more than happy if this stand of not clicking my pictures continues. Had I been not present at that day, thing could have gone worse,” Salman said replying to a query.

He was referring to a scuffle that reportedly took place between the photographers and his security guards at a promotional event here last week, apparently after the actor turned down

their demand to pose at a particular spot. “It was the PR team who had called you all. You came close, you reacted…there were bouncers (and) the fight was with them (then) why you

MY WIFE DOESN’T LIKE ME DOING MASALA FILMS: EMRAAN HASHMI Indian actor Emraan Hashmi, who had been dabbling with the off-beat side of cinema for a while, is back doing a masala film which will see him in his notorious avatar. The 35-year-old actor feels it is necessary to strike a balance between niche and mainstream films, which have all the commercial elements like romance, drama, action, music etc. Emraan will be next seen in ‘Raja Natwarlal’ with Pakistani actress Humaima Malick. “My wife doesn’t like me doing masala films but it is (about) getting food to the table. Like this film ‘Raja Natwarlal‘, has initimate scenes and I have to do it for bread and butter,” Emraan

told reporters here at the trailer launch of his upcoming film. Last year, Emraan experimented with films like ‘Ek Thi Daayan’ and ‘Ghanchakkar’ which failed to create magic at the box office. “I do not regret doing these films. I liked doing ‘Ek Thi Daayan’ and ‘Ghanchakkar’ it gave me an opportunity to stretch myself as an actor. I will be self destructive. I will continue to do both (masala and niche) kind of films. It is important for an actor to find balance between the two kind of films,” Emraan said. “I think box office should not be the only way to measure success but the trade looks at it that way. There are some films that help you stretch,” he said. Courtesy VIA INDIAN eXPress

One Direction are so close, they think of one another as ''family'' rather than just friends or bandmates. The 'Best Song Ever' hitmakers - consisting of Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson - feel incredibly lucky to have developed such a strong relationship, which extends further than just friendship, in just three years. Louis said: ''I think 'family' is probably the best way of describing us. It's different to friendship.'' Niall added: ''Yeah, we spend a good time on the road, and, obviously it's so important that we all get along or it won't work.'' Harry explained: ''There could have easily been one person who didn't get along with anyone; who nobody liked, but it wasn't like that. ''The relationship that's grown with these four boys that I didn't even know three years ago is absolutely insane and it's incredible. I'm very lucky that I get to spend so much time with them.'' Meanwhile, Harry, 20, has recently been rumoured to be embarking on a solo career, but he has shot down the speculation and insists he'll be part of One Direction - who shot to fame after taking part on 'The X Factor' in 2010 - until they're forced to go their separate ways due to old age. want publicity in my name and you got publicity. You cannot ban me. It is your choice to not click my pictures,” the 48year-old actor said. “I want those photographers to go back to the same bodyguards without Salman Khan and do the same thing, speak to the bouncers and bodyguards in the same way. It is because of me that they got saved that day,” the ‘Dabbangg’ star said. Salman said that photographers jostled to capture his photographs and came close to him, which was a fallout of competition among them. “(But) I have nothing to do with it. I am a winning party in this,” the actor said. The ban will reportedly stay in place till the release of ‘Kick’ on July 25. To a query, Salman said, “Why remove the ban, keep the stand. It has became an issue, the ruckus was created and they got all publicity… so continue with it.” AGeNCIes
