Can representative of FaqÄŤr use ZakÄ ÄĽ? Question: Does the representative of Shar’č FaqÄŤr have authority to spend ZakÄ ÄĽ on anything after he has taken possession of it? Answer: He does not have such authority. However, if Shar’č FaqÄŤr has granted him permission or he has obtained permission himself, then he can use it.

Representative’s possession is possession of one being represented Question: If Shar’č FaqÄŤr has granted his representative permission to use his ZakÄ ÄĽ for any work, or the representative has himself obtained such permission, will it still be necessary for Shar’č FaqÄŤr to take ZakÄ ÄĽ in his possession? Answer: No. If ZakÄ ÄĽ is in the possession of the representative, it will be considered to be in FaqÄŤr’s possession.

To forbid FaqÄŤr from keeping money Question: Can such sentences be said to Shar’č FaqÄŤr at the time of ḤčlaÄĽ: Return it; do not keep it etc.? Answer: No. Even if such sentences are used, this will cause no effect because ZakÄ ÄĽ will get paid and ḤčlaÄĽ will also be valid. These words of condition make no difference when used for giving ᚢadaqÄ t, ZakÄ ÄĽ and gifts.
