Welcome to SUITABLE FOR FRAMING, the 1984 Waa-Mu Show. SUITABLE FOR FRAMING is the c u l m i n a t i o n of fifty-three years of tradition at Northwestern. But, like all things, Waa-Mu has changed and evolved over the years. The production we have created during the past year has a look and feel that is new to the show. Hopefully it retains the standard of quality you have come to know and expect from Waa-Mu. We would like to extend our special t h a n k s to the 1984 Student Executive Board, the writers, composers, lyricists, the cast, crew, the staff, the designers and choreographers and Tom Roland, the director. W i t h a true dedication, all of them tirelessly channeled their talents into the creation of SUITABLE FOR FRAMING. This was our show - now it's your show. We hope you enjoy it. Paul F. 1985 WAA-MU SHOW TICKET PLAN Tickets for the 1985 Waa-Mu Show will be available to Northwestern University students, faculty, staff, alumni and the public. Preference will be given to students.

STUDENTS Upon presentation of their permanent ID card at the Cahn Auditorium Box Office or at Scott Hall, Room 109, early in the Fall Quarter of 1984, on a date to be announced, each student may obtain a Waa-Mu Show Student Ticket Application for submitting an order for three tickets for the 1985 production. The ticket application, with payment in full, may be turned in to the Cahn Auditorium Box Office between 9:00 a.m. and 12 noon on a Saturday in the Fall Quarter to be announced Ticket requests will be filled in the order in which they are received. Orders sent through Government mail will be considered last. Organizations and groups of students may request blocks of seats by assembling into one order, the individual ticket applications of their members.

FACULTY, STAFF, ALUMNI, PUBLIC Mail orders will be accepted only when filed on Waa-Mu Show Non-Student Ticket Application forms. Not more than three tickets may be requested on one form. Persons (other than students) not currently on the Waa-Mu Show mailing list and who wish to receive a Waa-Mu Show Non-Student Ticket Application, may file a written request to the Waa-Mu Show, Scott Hall, Evanston, Illinois 60201, prior to October 1,1984. Non-Student Ticket Application forms will be mailed to persons on the Waa-Mu mailing list about November 1, 1984. Non-Student Ticket Applications must be returned by Government mail and postmaked not earlier than December 1, 1984. NonStudent mail orders will be filled in rotating alphabetical order beginning at that point in the alphabet where no further orders could be filled in the preceding year. The alphabetical position of a name should not deter a patron from applying for tickets in any year. Once on the Waa-Mu mailing list, an application will be mailed annually, unless a ticket order is not submitted for three consecutive years. In this case, names are removed from the mailing list. It is the responsibility of persons on the mailing list to inform the Waa-Mu Show of any changes in address.

Mrs. Sheila Dworak and Mrs. Gloria Copeland of the Special Events Office. TICKET DISTRIBUTION When approximately 100 tickets remain for any performance, no further mail orders will be accepted for that performance, and these tickets will be reserved for sale to the Waa-Mu cast and staff. If any tickets from this allotment remain after the Waa-Mu cast and staff orders have been filled, they will be placed on sale about ten days before the first performance to students only, upon presentation of the ID card. A student whose ID card was punched to obtain a ticket application earlier in the year will not be entitled to purchase tickets at the box office if his original application has been filled. If any tickets remain unsold a week before the opening performance, these tickets will be sold in any number to anybody.
