As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered” (Romans 8:35-36).
Nothing can separate a Christian from Jesus Christ’s love for us, not even the worst problems of our earthly life nor the worst sins we commit in our earthly life—not even our physical death. God said to the people of Israel, “I have loved you with an everlasting love” (Jeremiah 31:3). Nothing can break the bond of love between Jesus Christ and His church.
