Apply online

Read the grant specifics to ensure that you pre-qualify, then apply for the desired grant through a form on our website. Member login is required to access most grant forms. Our 2022 grant application process is simple and accessible to members of all backgrounds and career stages.

Plan

Once you are notified that you have received a grant, you can start planning. This may involve additional steps, like purchasing airfare or submitting additional information to the AATG.

Implement & Document

During this stage, you take part in the grant activity or project and document the experience with photos, notes, and/or receipts for reimbursement. This will set you up for your reporting stage of your grant, which shows AATG grant donors the value of funding grants for German teachers in the U.S.

Grant programs are funded annually by AATG partner-donors, such as the German Embassy, Fulbright Program and other generous supporters of German program advancement in the U.S. To donate to our grant programs, visit www.aatg.org/donations/
