A season of meetings and contrasts
From mid-May onwards, the meetings take off and last until mid-September, with busy weekends in many destinations, before gradually winding down once autumn arrives.
We want the meetings season to be sunny and warm, but not too warm, with a light breeze and some nice cumulus clouds to brighten up the sky.
That's not the impression we'll be getting from this 2023 season. Towards mid-May, spring was finally becoming pleasant and, at the end of June, a fine summer seemed to be on the horizon. July swept away these hopes, and it wasn't until around 15 August that the weather returned to normal.
It was a season of contrasts, with some people enjoying ideal weather, others flying in the rain, and still others enjoying sunshine with a wind that was enough to take the wind out of their sails.
Saison des meetings et des contrastes
Dès mi-mai, les rencontres et meetings prennent leur envol et défilent jusqu'à mi-septembre, au rythme de week-ends chargés de nombreuses destinations, pour se calmer graduellement une fois l'automne arrivé.
La saison des meetings, nous souhaitons qu'elle soit ensoleillée, chaude, mais pas trop avec une légère brise et de beaux cumulus pour enjoliver le ciel.
Ce n'est pas l'impression que nous retiendrons de cette saison 2023. Ainsi, vers la mi-mai, le printemps devenait enfin agréable et, fin juin, un bel été semblait se profiler. Juillet balayera cette espérance et ce n'est que vers le 15 août que la météo retrouvera sa normalité.
Une saison très contrastée, certains bénéficiaient d'un temps idéal, d'autres volaient sous la pluie, pour d'autres encore le soleil était présent avec un vent à décorner les bœufs.
