We have several rooms to choose from which are very versatile such as The Auditorium which holds a maximum of 150 guests, the four star visitor attraction; The Museum of Piping, and our award winning Pipers’ Tryst Restaurant. The Auditorium For larger parties between 50 and 150 our auditorium has the space to accommodate a wide range of occasions and numbers. The auditorium provides the perfect room for graduation balls, birthday parties, ceilidhs, engagement parties, and banquet dinners. With a maximum seated dining capacity of 120 our authentic auditorium provides ample dance floor space as well as a private bar, private reception facilities and full stage. The venue hire of the auditorium is charged at £500.00 which includes: o o o o o o o

The hire of the auditorium also includes the use of our Blue Room, located just outside the main room. This is the perfect area to welcome your guests with arrival drinks as well as the serving your evening buffet. Catering for your special event is provided by the kitchens of The Pipers’ Tryst, our award winning restaurant. With a large selection of set menus and buffet lists we try to cater for all your guests’ requirements; however we are more than happy to tailor our catering to meet your individual tastes. The Auditorium is perfect for any special event and with the help of our events team who will be on hand to offer assistance at every stage leading towards your big night; you will get a real sense of occasion for your special celebrations.

Come and Try Bagpipe session

A light-hearted talk and demonstration of the Great Highland Bagpipe hosted by one of our experienced Pipers. Guests will also have the chance to view our The Museum of Piping, which offers a fascinating insight into the history of the bagpipes. from £170.00

• We allow corkage on wine, sparkling wine and champagne only • Red and white wine is priced at £6.25 per bottle • Sparkling wine or champagne is priced at £12.50 per bottle • We do not allow any spirits or liqueurs to be brought onto the premises • We do not allow any draught beer to be brought onto the premises

Own catering

• We do not allow any catering to be brought into the building • The only edible items allowed are celebration cakes, baby food and favours

Accommodation

• All rates include continental breakfast • Cooked breakfast can be purchased at an extra cost • It is not imperative that you take the bedrooms as we are a public hotel • Guests have an opportunity to book online at www.thepipingcentre.co.uk

Bar licence

• For all events held Monday to Sunday the bar will close at 11.45pm • By Scottish law drinking up time is 15 minutes; therefore exit is at 12am

Resident’s licence

• The Pipers’ Tryst bar is available for residents only after midnight • All drinks consumed will be charged to residents bedrooms for payment on check out • The manager on duty has the final decision on closure of this late night bar

Parking

• There is no car parking on the premises of The National Piping Centre • There are two multi storage car parks two minutes walk from the building • Normal rates apply • Street parking is also available • We do not take responsibility for guest’s cars or penalty tickets

Check in Check out

• Check in is from 2pm • We can arrange an earlier check if required – please discuss with your wedding planner • If the room is not ready, bags can be stored until check-in • Breakfast is served from 8am-10am • Check out is 11am

Terms, conditions & contract 1.

Please note that the Auditorium may be too big for parties less than 30.

2.

Daily Delegate rate has a minimum number of 20 people.

3.

Come and try sessions and whisky tastings have a minimum number of 6 people.

4.

The Bruce package has a minimum capacity of 45 and is only available Sunday – Thursday.

5.

The Ramsay package has a maximum capacity of 40 and is only available Sunday - Thursday.

6.

A provisional booking can be held for up to 7 days without obligation.

7.

A provisional booking will be released unless written confirmation is received, accompanied by a nonrefundable & non transferable deposit to be confirmed at the time booking.

8.

The final menu selection and guest numbers must be made one month prior to the event.

9.

If final numbers change they will be required 7 days prior to the event however please note if less, no refund will be given

10. The final account will be invoiced one month prior to the event with any extras that may be incurred cleared pre event. 11. All hotel accommodation must be assigned and payment received on the day of event or in advance. Any no shows will be added to any other additional charges. 12. Neither you nor any of your guests may bring alcohol or food of any kind into The National Piping Centre. 13. The National Piping Centre reserves the right to refuse alcohol. 14. Should the event be cancelled the deposit is non-refundable or transferrable. a.

Within 25 days of the event, 50% of the anticipated revenue and deposit will be payable.

b.

Within 10 days of the event, results in the full amount of the expected revenue being due to The National Piping Centre.

15. The National Piping Centre will not be liable for the cost of any damage or repairs that may be required as a direct result of such damage to any part of the building or, any equipment therein contained caused by any person invited by you or on your behalf. 16. The National Piping Centre will not accept liability in respect of any loss or damage to articles brought onto the premises. 17. All prices quoted are inclusive of VAT at the rate prevailing when this contract was issued. They are subject to change without notice should there be a change in the rate of VAT chargeable. 18. This agreement will only come into force when a copy is signed and dated by the customer and given to The National Piping Centre. If the agreement fails to be signed, the National Piping Centre reserves the right to cancel the event. 19. The National Piping Centre will not allow bands or DJs to store their equipment over night. Bands must fully exit the premises after the event has taken place. 20. The National Piping Centre does not provide a dressing room or meals for bands unless the client has authorised pre-event and it has been settled on the master invoice.
