START/STOP PLUS AGM PRODUCTS
AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) is manufactured specifically for Micro-Hybrid vehicles fitted with the Start/Stop, Brake Energy Regeneration and other technologies designed to reduce fuel consumption.
The Platinum Start/Stop Plus AGM batteries have increased cyclic performance. Not only can they cope with increased demand from fuel saving devices on the vehicle, they are also able to power a wider range of ancillary equipment, even when the engine is in the idle position.

PLEASE NOTE AGM batteies can be fitted on all Start / Stop vehicles but you must replace ‘like for like’ where AGM was originally fitted.
START/STOP AFB
AFB (Advanced Flooded Battery), also known as ECM (Enhanced Cyclic Mat) or EFB (Enhanced Flooded Battery), is an evolution of the traditional lead-acid battery that has been designed to meet the requirements of the new Start/ Stop Micro-Hybrid compact vehicles that have entered the market.
The Start/Stop AFB is a reliable power source that supplies all ancillary equipment, including all ‘in car electrical loads’, even when the engine is in an idle/
off position and offers twice the cyclic capability of standard wet flooded batteries.

PLEASE NOTE you can replace AFB batteries with AFB (ECM/ EFB) or AGM batteries only.
