Soap Opera Update By Dee Wright TV Media For the week of April 16 - 20 The Bold and the Beautiful Brooke notices an attraction between Rick and Caroline during a photo shoot, and she quietly pats herself on the back for making a good match. However, Amber’s up to no good when she causes Caroline to cancel her dinner with Rick and instead meets up with Thomas. Hope and Amber make an agreement so that Amber will continue giving Hope pills if Hope helps Amber keep Rick and Caroline apart. Later, Hope becomes depressed when she sees a photo of Liam and Steffy, realizing that Liam is still married and Steffy seems like she’ll never sign the divorce papers. Pam and Donna struggle to share the receptionist job, and the claws quickly come out. Thomas and Steffy finally find time to get together and fill each other in on their lives. Days of Our Lives Stefano lashes out at Kate for
sleeping with Ian, and he pulls all control of Countess Wilhemina away from her and gives it to Sami. After Stefano kicks Kate out of the house, Ian sees it as his opportunity to be with Kate and grants Madison the divorce she’s been asking for so she can marry Brady. Later, Ian assembles Madison, Kate, Lucas and Brady together so they can work out a plan to use Mad World to bring Countess Wilhemina -- as well as Stefano and Sami -- to an end. Meanwhile, Hope convinces Daniel to bring Bo out of his drug-induced coma, and Daniel is amazed at how well Bo has recovered. Lexie, however, struggles through another headache, and Abe informs EJ about Lexie’s tumor. Chad and Melanie try to play matchmaker with Abigail and Cameron, but the two have already gotten off on the wrong foot. Will tells Gabi he’s gay. General Hospital Sonny’s trial gets started as the district attorney and Alexis, representing Sonny, give their opening statements. Later, Starr, Dante, Carly, Johnny and Michael provide their testimony to the case, but Kate los-
es herself on the stand and breaks down. Ewen tells Kate that she should consider committing herself to a mental hospital and taking care of her Connie-related issues before she completely loses everything. Sam struggles with whether or not to tell Jason about John’s behavior, but her mind seems made up when she lies to Jason about John calling her. Heather moves in with Steve, despite Olivia’s objections, and Olivia goes to Ewen for advice with how to deal with Heather’s erratic personality. Matt opens his heart to Maxie, who is overwhelmed with guilt and almost tells him the truth. The Young and the Restless Jack and Genevieve have an explosive argument and call off the wedding. Nikki and Jack reconcile and make love, while at the same time, Gen signs Beauty of Nature over to Victor and they make love as well. Later, Victor and Gen arrive at a party together and announce their relationship, and Nikki and Jack counter with the same announcement. Ricky causes a distraction at Crimson Lights and manages to sneak
