Late Laughs Conan: Conan O’Brien McDonald’s has just announced that all of its U.S. locations will sell the McRib sandwich only until Nov. 14. So, unfortunately, it looks like I’ll have to cook for Thanksgiving after all. A bank in Washington, D.C., was robbed by two men in George W. Bush masks. Luckily right afterwards, two guys in Obama masks came and bailed the bank out. President Obama was back in Los Angeles where he will appear on “The Tonight Show With Jay Leno.” Obama is appearing with Jay Leno to highlight the one job that WAS saved during his administration. Herman Cain and Newt Gingrich said that next month they’re going to take part in a Lincoln-Douglas-style debate. The only similarity to the actual Lincoln-Douglas debates is that no one will watch them on television. They have buried Moammar Gadhafi at a secret undisclosed location. In other words, it’s going to be the best season of “The Amazing Race” yet! The New York Times reports that Moammar Gadhafi spent his last days hovering between defiance and delusion, surviving on rice and pasta. In other words, Gadhafi spent his last days as a sophomore in college.

The Tonight Show: Jay Leno President Obama is here in Los Angeles. He’s raising money for a huge disaster relief project: it’s called NBC. It seemed that after he was killed, Gadhafi’s body was stored in a commercial freezer at a shopping mall. It’s one thing to hunt a guy down and shoot him twice in the head, but then to drag him to the mall?! Come on, guys hate that! A man from India has become the first 100-year-old person to run a full marathon. He’s 100 years old, but to be fair, he was 94 when he started the race.

The Late Show: David Letterman Moammar Gadhafi was found hiding in a storm sewer with a gold-plated gun. That’s me in retirement, ladies and gentlemen! Rick Perry is now behind in the polls and he’s not taking it well. Today, he executed his pollster.

Live: Jimmy Kimmel I personally didn’t watch “Dancing With the Stars” tonight because if there’s anything I learned from the new “Footloose” remake, it’s that dancing is a sin and should not be tolerated. I bought a bunch of candy for Halloween, though no kids ever come to my house because of the moat. The Chinese government has announced a plan to ban all reality television shows that are “overly entertaining.” The new rules will affect all 34 TV stations. Thirty-four stations? We have more ESPNs than that! The Chinese may lead us in math and science, but they will never be able to match our amount of Real Housewives knockoffs!

HAUNTED HALLS: It’s a horrifying thought that one could be stuck in high school for decades. Now, as Syfy suggests, getting to stay forever young comes at the price of a pulse. The cabler recently announced that it has ordered six episodes of “School Spirits” from executive producers Mark Burnett and Seth Jarrett. The hour-long show will take viewers into schools across the country that have been haunted by ghosts for years. Interviews with students, parents, teachers and staff about their paranormal encounters will form the backdrop for each episode, which will also include dramatic reenactments to make the chilling experience for viewers all the more realistic. In some cases, the hauntings are more recent, while at other schools, ghosts have wandered the halls since the late 1800s. And it’s not limited to high schools -- colleges and universities are also highlighted for their phantom residents. “School hauntings are some of the most terrifying first-hand accounts. The stories that have terrified generations of students and teachers are not for the faint-ofheart,” said Syfy’s Mark Stern. “With Mark and Seth as executive producers, we look forward to delivering another gripping paranormal series for our viewers.” The reputations associated with the duo behind the series will almost guarantee that viewers will get hooked on this show. Burnett is a reality-TV legend, having produced such massive hits as “Survivor,” “The Voice,” “The Apprentice,” “Shark Tank” and “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?” Jarrett, on the other hand, is best known for his

SETTLING IN: At a time when networks seem to pull the cord on flailing new shows within weeks of their premiere, Fox’s “New Girl” is defying the odds. After having the best debut for a fall sitcom in a decade, the cast and crew of “New Girl’s” have been given the green light to make 11 more episodes, bringing the freshman season to a full 24-episode order. Starring Zooey Deschanel, the series follows Jessica Day, a young woman who, after discovering her long-term boyfriend has been unfaithful, moves into a loft with three single guys, who help her re-enter the world of dating. The show’s high ratings among young adult viewers and teens have already made it the No. 1 new series of the season -- results that have the executives at Fox beaming. “We love the charming Zooey Deschanel and the entire cast, we’re knocked out with the work that (creator) Liz Meriwether and the whole staff is doing, and we are really psyched about the upcoming episodes in the pipeline,” said Fox’s Kevin Reilly. “It’s great that audiences have responded so positively so far and we’re confident that even more people will embrace the show -- and more comedy on Fox -this season.” It’s not very shocking that the show has left an impression on young adult viewers. Considering the show’s themes and the events that force Jessica to move in with the guys, “New Girl” has a very relatable premise. Whether it will survive past its first season or not remains to be seen. Deschanel is best known to viewers through her film work, with leading lady roles in “(500) Days of Summer” (2009), “Yes Man” “New Girl” has been given a (2008), “The Hitchhikfull season order on Fox er’s Guide to the Galaxy” (2005) and “Elf” (2003). The show also stars Max Greenfield, Lamorne Morris, Jake M. Johnson and Hannah Simone.

other paranormal-themed show, “Celebrity Ghost Stories,” which airs on A&E and the Biography Channel. GAMERS’ ‘REVENGE’: The Ginger Army is coming to an Xbox near you, so pick up your controller and get ready to seek revenge, “South Park”-style. The hit Comedy Central show, which is now in its 15th season, will release its second video game for the Xbox Live Arcade, called South Park: Tenorman’s Revenge, this coming spring. The game is inspired by Scott Tenorman, a secondary character in the animated series who is Cartman’s half-brother. The two boys have an ongoing feud, and Scott is known as the leader of the gingers. It is these two details that form the premise for Tenorman’s Revenge. Gamers playing as Cartman, Kyle, Stan or Kenny must battle Scott and his Ginger Army in order to save their town. The game is set up so that a player can team with up to four other people locally or online to engage in battle with the gingers. The game was developed by Other Ocean Interactive for South Park Digital Studios, which manages, among other things, the development of videos games based on the cartoon. This allows show creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker to be more involved in the game development process, which is a response to their dissatisfaction with earlier games released independently by Acclaim Entertainment.
