The Roswell Film Festival honors International Feature and Short Films of all genres. Special sections include: Sci-Fi/Fantasy, Independent, Documentary and New Mexicobased productions. The annual festival will host films, special events and panel discussions in the Alien Capitol of the World. The festival celebrates the International Spirit of the Roswell Incident by welcoming some of the best films around the world. Come enjoy several days of great films and like-minded people to celebrate the art of film. The grand finale is open for everybody during an award ceremony after showing the winning movies. The City of Roswell invites UFO enthusiasts and skeptics alike to join in the celebration of one of the most debated incidents in history. The three-day event will feature guest speakers, authors, live entertainment, a costume contest, a pet costume contest, parade, family-friendly activities and more. Additionally to the UFO Festival the Roswell Cosmicon takes place with Steampunk features and programs for the entire family and entertainment at local restaurants.
