DeLisle, Covens Mortier, “Second partie de la Crimee, LA MER NOIRE”, Amsterdam, c.1735. Imperial Folio, 62x49cm copper engraved map of Black sea published in Amsterdam. Although the reference is Delisle as the geographer, Delisle never published this map. In reality Covens Mortier drawn a new map from Delisle maps of the area, to present the theater of war between Russians and Turks in 1735-1738. Almost fine condition. Scarce.

Big, 65x49cm copper engraved map of the Balkan peninsula and western Asia Minor, including Cyprus, published in “Atlas Universel”, by Santini, after Janvier. Zacharakis 3250, original outline colours, three spots outside printed area, impression somehow weak, as usual on these maps, overall very good.
