The singer Stephanie Zelaya will represent Guatemala with her song “Como pueda” (As I can). She hopes to win the Gaviota de Plata award for the best song presented yearly at the Viña del Mar Festival, held at the Quinta Vergara, Chile.

«To think that in a few months I will be singing on stage, playing the piano, and offering millions of people a song I wrote» is my childhood dream, said the artist.
The country will be present for the second time in its history, after the presentation of singer-songwriter Ricardo Arjona, in 1995. The other participating nations are Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Chile, and Ecuador.
