VCU College of Humanities and Sciences

The College of Humanities and Sciences is the largest academic unit at VCU, and houses the core intellectual disciplines in the natural sciences, social sciences and humanities. We have over 400 faculty members and over 16,000 students with majors in the College. The College has a strategic goal of deepening the intellectual environment at VCU and providing opportunities for students and faculty to engage in the creation of new knowledge, new perspectives, new creative works and scholarly activities that will increase human and understanding and can be used to solve some of society's most important problems.
