Art in Public Places

Greenacres continues to introduced interactive art to the community beginning with the bright and beautiful wall mural at Samuel J. Ferreri Community Park highlighting our youth and all the play options the City has to offer, capturing the Greenacres community spirit. Several utility boxes at various locations/intersections throughout Greenacres have also been updated with photographic art, depicting our history, people, nature and services, plus the recently added mural along Haverhill Road and Melaleuca Lane.

Arbor Day Celebration

Our annual Arbor Day Celebration was held on January 14, 2022, at Ira Van Bullock Park. Children from the City’s Youth Programs helped plant trees, and this year marked our 31st consecutive year that the City received the Tree City USA Award.
