2022 Annual Events
A City co-sponsored cultural event organized by the Puerto Rican Hispanic Chamber of Commerce usually was held in March, with 3,000 people in attendance enjoying Hispanic culture through music, food, art, a multicultural village, and 3 Kings Parade at the Samuel J. Ferreri Community Park.
Egg’stravaganza
The City's popular Spring Egg Hunt plus family-friendly activities was held in April. Children hunted for over 20,000 toy-stuffed eggs to win prizes, and enjoyed free hayrides, inflatables, vendors, food and photo with the Easter Bunny!
Daddy Daughter Dance
A Hawaiian themed Luau took place with over 100 participants meeting Moana, and learning how to do the Polynesian and Hula dances with a professional instructor, during the annual dinner dance. Various activities included games, prizes, professional photo’s, free books and an ice cream sundae bar.
Ignite the Night
Our family-friendly Ignite the Night Independence Day celebration hosted over 8,000 attendees. Live music, food, fun, amusements and much more was enjoyed by all, concluding with the Zambelli fireworks display, lighting up the night sky to complete the evening.
Holiday in the Park
A memorable holiday celebration was enjoyed by over 5,500 people included a tree lighting ceremony, numerous local school performances, holiday music, various food trucks, visits and photos with Santa, free toys and gifts and much more. Many thanks to all our Sponsors who helped make this event such a success.
Some City events were modified again this year due to the Pandemic. The six (6) events hosted by the City had a combined attendance of over 21,500 attendees with a 95% satisfaction rate from attendees.
