Now, not only is our tiny state famous for its award-winning artisan cheddars and chèvres — many of which grace the tables at the world’s finest restaurants — our wine industry is booming. We also boast the most microbreweries per capita. Since nothing goes with good eats like good drinks, area bartenders proudly pour vino, beer, mead and even liquor and liqueur made in our verdant hills and valleys.
