This year’s edition was unique as the occasion formed part of activities to commemorate the school’s 70th anniversary. As usual, students paired themselves in groups representing different countries of the world. These included UK, USA, France, Scotland, India, South Africa, Ghana, and Nigeria, among others. And each group dressed in attires depicting the country
they represented. They recited their national anthems, talked about their histories, cultures, languages and foods peculiar to them. They also danced to their traditional music while the top three were praised for their efforts. For the students as well as their teachers, the occasion would remain immemorial in their mind. Ekwunife Chinonyelu of SS3, who was part of the South African contingent, emphasised the importance of the day in the school’s calendar, saying it is designed to prepare them to be global citizens. “The event gives us the opportunity

Commending the girls for putting up impressive performance, the school’s Administrator, Sis.
