There is power in your mouth –Pastor Oloruntimilehin Founder of Omnipotence Mission of God, Pastor Joshua Oloruntimilehin Daramola, emphasizes that there is power of the spoken words. Excerpts:
W
hat is authority? Everybody has authority. It is by authority that everybody is alive today. The authority in the mouths is what people use every time. About 75 per cent of what you say with your mouth comes to pass.
With authority, a person would pronounce that he or she would be going to the church and he or she would find himself or herself in the church. That person is a person of authority. In the same manner, a person would pronounce that he or she would like to have a loaf of bread and fried egg for breakfast. If the person could have bread without fried egg, he or she is not with authority. Sometime, a person would make a pronouncement and it would come to pass. Why? It is because the person had prepared himself or herself to let it come to pass since he or she had been making pronouncements severally and they had come to pass i.e. a talk-and-do person. People are advised not to condemn themselves because they are people of authority and whatever they say always comes to manifestation, instead they should use their authority to cast away the problems confronting them. What and how do people use the authority and are they well established? Who is a king? A person that makes pronouncements on issues that affect his people and the town after consulting with his cabinet and the pronouncement is carried out without any objection from anybody.
Based on this, kings are referred to as the second-in-command to God. Sometime ago, I told some people that any student that has authority and says he or she wants to pass his or her examination would definitely pass. It is out of the pronouncement; the student desires it and his or her mind accepts and starts to work towards passing the exam by paying attention to his or her studies. A lot of people make promises to give money to some people. It is already authorised but if they fail to give the money to the people they are not people of authority; same as if they did not give the actual amount they promised. Imagine that the hopes of the promised person have been dashed because they would have put their minds and plans on the actual amount promised. All these kinds of people are not people of authority and they are not honourable. What they should have done was to be working towards the fulfillment of the promise. Before a person becomes a person of authority, they must stand by their words. Many people become useless and messed up before man and God because they failed to fulfill their promises made to God and man. Therefore, a person can be a person of authority when his or her requests are granted and must be a person that stands by his or her words. The scripture advises
people to be very fast to hear and very slow to make pronouncements. Furhermore, the Bible emphasises the need for people to be careful in making vows they cannot fulfil because it is sinful before God and carries a curse. Ecclesiastes 5 verses 4 – 6 states, “When you make a vow to God, do not delay to pay it. For he has no pleasure in fools; pay what you have vowed. Better not to vow than to vow and not pay. Do not let your mouth cause your flesh to sin nor say before a messenger of God that it was an error…” Many people are requesting from God, they pray fervently, fast, read the Bible very well but nothing positive is happening in their lives. Though they made promises or vows.

oday, God opened my eyes of understanding to see so many things that this nation must prepare for in the course of this year. And God specifically instructed me that this message must be delivered as I have seen it. The lord sent me to some groups of people, most especially our leaders, our fathers in the Lord who have gone far in the work of the ministry. The Lord said that most of the churches that have established one private university or the other started the universities with the money of the rich, the poor, the peasants and all manner of people. Everybody contributed one thing or the other, no matter how little, especially the lessprivileged ones; to establish the universities. The Lord said I should ask all of you: where are your universities? Many of the churches that are having private universities, the Lord said I should tell you that many of you are gathering wealth but you don’t know who will spend it. Today, it is only those ones that are in high position, the same set of people that God does not want to be part of it, they are the ones that can afford the tuition fees of those institutions. Most of the private universities owned by the ministers of God or the Ministries are not affordable to the average members of their individual churches. The Lord said I should tell you that you are only gathering this wealth but you don’t know who will spend it. The Lord said I should tell all of you that it is better now to have a rethink and reverse your individual decisions. God showed me in the course of that revelation that children of most church members could not afford the tuition or school fees of these private universities owned by their General Overseers and founder. And because of this, most of the children are wandering and loitering all over the places because they are not privileged to enjoy the benefits of the same church and ministry they belong to. Many of the universities owned by these ministers of God are only being owned to further their nest. God said I should tell all of you: it is better for
you to repent now. Many of you have labored in the vineyard, many of you have paid a lot of prices, many of you have been following God faithfully all these years but only one wrong doing can make all of you to miss his kingdom. It is via your relationship with the less-privileged in your individual churches. There are some of the private universities that those who are less-privileged in the churches were taxed to raise money to build the universities. But how many of the children of those less-privileged in the churches are in the universities? It is the same set of people that are embezzling the money of this country, the same set of people that are ‘419’, duping and doing all manner of things that God does not want. The children of some of these thieves and dupers are in those private universities owned by various churches all over this country. God sent me to all of you involved one by one that it is better for you to repent and have a rethink. Eventually, all of you will leave this world and go and meet your maker. How will it be like when those ones that are ahead will be the ones that will be on the wrong side when they get to heaven? Whatever your university has that those ones that are less-privileged cannot be partakers actually belong to their parents who made contributions, and above all, they belong to God. You are a disappointment to creation. I humble myself before God today to say emphatically that most people that established these private universities own by missionaries, the Lord said you better reverse your system. There are so many minsters of God who will not make heaven because of love for wealth. May the Lord help us. The second people are still ministers that God send me to. The Lord said I should tell fellow ministers that in faith, that many have lost the truth via loitering along the corridors of power in this nation. Most Christian leaders go cap-in-hand to the people in government to seek assis-
tance in one way or the other. And because of that, their mouths have been shut from saying the truth and correcting those ones they should correct. God said they should be prepared for judgment. On that day, nobody will be there with you; nobody will help you. It is what you have done that judge you. Many of our leaders have corrupted their hands, because of that, when they see the truth, they cannot declare. If you look at the book Bamidele of Job 36:11, the Bible says, “If they will obey and serve Him, they will spend their days in prosperity and their years in pleasures.” Life is a training ground. Before you move to your next level, you must get set to prepare yourself ahead of the assignment. It shall be well with you in Jesus’ name.
