h Down Low and Who Be Dat You might not know the group, Addiction yet, you will, soon. Addiction is a set of un-identical twins that have been ruling the Abuja entertainment landscape with easy-to-remember hook-lines, energetic performances and sense of styles to match. The twins christened Aaron and Sharon Igho, play the kind of hip hop that hits you from the word ‘go’. With two singles, ‘Down Low’ and ‘Who Be Dat’, the set of unidentical twins, born in the UK and raised in Jos, originally from Delta State, studied at the University of Jos (UNIJOS) and obtained a degree in Psychology and Political Science. Presently signed to Zakudia Records, the group is known for its energetic and choreographed performances, easy-tosing-along lyrics and very strong delivery. Armed with videos for ‘Down Low’ which were shot in South Africa by Godfather Productions and ‘Who Be Dat’ by Clarence Peters in Lagos, Addiction has relocated to Lagos to stake their claim in the scheme of things. Addiction came into the limelight last year when they performed at their first show ever, ‘Wondering’. The group has since shared the stage with 2face, Ruggedman and others. Since then, they have graced other shows like NTA Band Stand, Crack your Ribs, Night of a Thousand Laughs, Abuja Carnivals, Miss Benue, Calabar Carnival, Guinness Extra Smooth Tour in Jos, Benue, Calabar, Taraba and Abuja, Names on Platinum, Runway fashion show, I-Rep Abuja season 1, Big Brother finale after party in Santon, South Africa, and at many other gigs. Darey Art Alade’s second child arrives Nigerian multi-platinum selling and award-winning musician and singer-songwriter, Darey Art Alade and his beautiful wife Deola have announced the arrival of their second child, a gorgeous baby girl. The couple welcomed the new baby on Friday, in a London hospital. It’s the couple’s second child. Their first child, Femi was born on December 28, 2007. Darey and Deola tied the knot on February 17, 2007. Delivered at 9:50AM that day, at Queen Charlotte and Chelsea Hospital, the baby weighed 2.4kg. Darey, who is in London by his wife says he’s ‘extremely happy and grateful to God’. ‘We are overjoyed, ecstatic and over the moon by the new addition to our family. Many thanks to family and friends to their love, support and good wishes.’
