Preliminaty objectives summary 1. Preliminary Objectives :
For easy usability of the existing stove in the third world country, offer the design of excellent stove. From various ways of stove, we chose to design solarstove. We will develop solar stove futher more to make it ap appropriate for Ethiopia.
Stove in the Third World existing
Project Development 1. Pitch you Idea We will design a solar stove which is able to control the heat and great portability for Ethiopian people to cook anywhere, anytime, with out danger and pollution.
2. Prototype

3. Function
Users may control and set the stove with simple manipulation. Solar plate can be folded when not in use and set the angle easily. It’s support fixture is adaptable in any landscape making the stove ready to be used in any circumstances.
4. Design innovation :
Previous solar cookers were designed of solar pannel on support fixture. They were not easy to carry around, unnecessarily big, heavy and could only reflect strong heat which is dangerous and inconvenient at cooking. Our design purpose is to make the stove easy and safe to use, by enabling it to be able to control the heat through changing angle of solar pannel.

4. Material & techniques :
Material
- Techniques The biggest problem of solar stove is that it could only be used outdoor since sunlight is necessary. Ethiopia wheather is almost always sunny during the year, and strong sunlight can get more heat from it in a short time. So we focused more on portability and safety while we design.
- Material We’ve chosen materials which would cool in a short time for safety and heat placed solar pannels in certain positions to control the heat. We chose them through many tests with out prototypes . techniques

Trials, errors and learning Outcome 1. What have you achieved?
We have tested various maaterials that sould be seen in our daily lives to industrial materials and figured how different their temperatures are in sunight, found some way to control the heat of sunlight on the cooker.
2. What have you failed to achieve?
We figured diffused reflecting materials were not able to use. One of the big problem in Ethiopia is water desease, we have tried boiling water with prototype but eventually failed due to size and stability of out prototype.
3. What do you still have to improve? We will do more research on materials and make bigger prototype in appropriate structure, to find out which is best for cooking and safty and usability. We will also think of durable and sustainable structure and materials with low cost.
