Type of eligible event: Entry-level courses for new Level 2 or 3 Clinic SCHOLARSHIP instructors, preferably Adaptive but will not be limited Scholarship Amount: Twelve $95 scholarships per season by discipline. Type of event: Level 2 or 3 prep clinic in any discipline Details of application: Complete and submit application Deadline Jan 1, 2020 form, essay and letter of recommendation EDWIN TERRELL MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP Type of event: Edwin Terrell Memorial Clinic. Scholarship amount: Tuition to the Edwin Terrell Memorial clinic.
CANCELLATIONS and SWITCHES
✔ There will be no additional fee if registration is cancelled or switched before the published deadline date. ✔ 50% cancellation OR switch fee if the registration is cancelled or switched after the published deadline but up to 72 hours before the clinic/Level 1 Assessment or 1 week before the Level 2/3/RMT Assessment. ✔ The 50% fee will be waived if the registrant provides a person, at least one week before the event, as your replacement for a cancellation or switch. This person will need to pay the registrant directly for the cost of the event. ✔ If registrant cancels or is a “no show” within 72 hours of the clinic/Level 1 Assessment or within 1 week of the Level 2/3/RMT Assessment, no refunds will be administered. ✔ Medically verified cancellations will receive a 100% refund if a written doctor’s verification and request for a refund are received in the RM office within two weeks after the event.

ADAPTIVE ALPINE CERTIFICATION PATH Step 1: Registered Member ✔ Pay RM & National Dues Step 2: Adaptive Alpine Level 1 Certification Prerequisites ✔ Minimum 16 years of Age ✔ Be an employee or volunteer of a recognized ski school or adaptive ski program and complete a minimum of ten hours of in-house and on-hill training and actual onhill adaptive teaching ✔ Complete the online Alpine Level 1 E-Learning Course ✔ Attend the Adaptive Alpine Functional Skiing Tech and Teaching Prep Clinic (not mandatory if you have Alpine Level 1 certification) ✔ Complete and pass the Online Module Assessment for the corresponding on-hill assessment you will be taking at least one week before the assessment: • Bi-Ski & Mono-Ski • Cognitive & Visually Impaired • 3-Track, 4-Track & Slider Requirements ✔ Complete the Adaptive Alpine Functional Skiing Professional Development Log ✔ Pass the Adaptive Alpine Functional Skiing Assessment at a minimum of a Level 1. ✔ Bi-Ski & Mono-Ski ✔ Cognitive & Visually Impaired ✔ Bring completed Adaptive Alpine Professional Development Log for the Module Assessment you will be taking ✔ Pass the corresponding on-hill Module Assessment Step 3: Adaptive Alpine Level 2 Certification Prerequisites ✔ PSIA-RM Adaptive Alpine Level 1 Certified ✔ Current on Dues & Credit Hours ✔ Complete and pass both remaining online
