In what ways do you see 4KIDS changing our community for the better?

4KIDS organizes people with a heart to serve children and families to truly become the hands and feet of Christ. They help broken families get back on their feet again and give their children a fighting chance at a better tomorrow. They raise awareness on foster care issues and offer a tangible way for people to help!

How is your partnership with 4KIDS impacting your life today?

We started out with 4KIDS as a foster family. Between the ups and downs, 4KIDS provided our family and the children placed in our home with the support needed to make the difference between a successful placement, or the child being moved from home to home. The 4KIDS community that rallied around us during this time showed us that it’s not just the foster families that make an impact, but also those behind the scenes. After we adopted, we closed our home to fostering and became monthly Defenders. We firmly believe that if we all step up…there is no burden! There is no child left without! We all can do something to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families.

What would you say to someone who is thinking about partnering with 4KIDS?

Consider how you would feel if you were that child who was just removed from everything you know. How would you want people to respond? Wouldn’t you want people to reach out and help you? These children end up in foster care due to no fault of their own. They are at the mercy of our compassion and willingness to open our hearts, our homes and our pockets. If we all partner together, it’s not a hard thing to do!
