Your Impact in Action To close out the summer, Andre and some of the SafePlace team took two little ones to the zoo! One of the teen boys also got to go to a festival and experience food trucks for the first time. Your impact is the difference between them staying at SafePlace all day or having fun outings like these.
Silas is ready for another school year! Because of your generosity, we were able to give out over 500 backpacks at the Broward, Palm Beach, and Treasure Coast 4KIDS Back to School Bashes. Packed with all the essentials, these backpacks were a small and tangible way to bless our foster and adoptive children big time.
Thanks to friends of 4KIDS like you, Lisa, one of our residential house parents, was able to take her oldest foster son to Disney for the first time! It had always been a dream of his to meet Mickey and visit the castle. On the ride home, he even drew a sweet photo of him and Lisa holding hands at the park. Through memories like this, our kids are learning to form strong and loving bonds again.
