Μια φορά και ένα καιρό μια παρέα παιδιών αποφάσισαν να πάνε μια βόλτα σε ένα δάσος που είχε πολλά περίεργα δέντρα. Once upon a time five children decided to go for a walk in a forest that had many strange trees.
Περπατούσαν ώρες όταν είδαν ένα δέντρο που είχε μουσικά όργανα στα κλαδιά του. Ανέβηκαν πάνω στο δέντρο και έπαιξαν μουσική Τα ζώα άκουσαν την όμορφη μελωδία και άρχισαν να χορεύουν γύρω από το δέντρο. Δίπλα ακριβώς στεκόταν ένα ακόμη πιο παράξενο δέντρο που ανάμεσα στα κλαδιά του υπήρχε ένα ουράνιο τόξο .Γύρω του υπήρχαν διάφορα σκιάχτρα και έτσι όλα τα πουλάκια πέταξαν μακριά παρόλο που τα σκιάχτρα ήταν τόσο καλόψυχα!! Τα παιδιά γεμάτα από χαρά στάθηκαν σε ένα δέντρο που ήταν γεμάτο με χαρτάκια .Κάθε χαρτάκι έκρυβε και μια όμορφη ευχή. Οι ευχές τους ανακατεύθηκαν με τις ευχές και τα όνειρα όλων των άλλων παιδιών. Ενθουσιασμένα συνάντησαν μια λίμνη και μέσα ένα εντυπωσιακό δέντρο. Πάνω στο δέντρο υπήρχαν καβούρια, ψάρια, ξιφίες αλλά και 8 όμορφες γοργόνες που κολυμπούσαν στα κλαδιά που ήταν γεμάτα νερό. Δίπλα ήταν ένας δέντρο με αριθμούς που μάθαινε στις γοργόνες να μετρούν. Excitedly they met a lake and within a stunning tree. Άρχιζε να βραδιάζει και τα παιδιά πήραν τον δρόμο της επιστροφής. Ξαφνικά ακούστηκε μια φωνή: Σήκω Λάμπρο, είναι ώρα για το σχολείο». Ο Λάμπρος τότε κατάλαβε πως ήταν ένα όνειρο. Στο σχολείο διηγήθηκε στους συμμαθητές του το όνειρό του. Τότε η δασκάλα του πρότεινε να γράψει ένα παραμύθι και να το κάνουνε βιβλίο!! Έτσι, και έγινε… It was dawning and the children took the way back. Suddenly a voice was heard: "Lambro, γet up, it's time for school." Lampros then realized it was a dream.
