My name is Donna Gabiana I have two sons and a daughter Tristan and Tyler are a part of Southwest Vida I work at DSST College View HS I immigrated alone to the US from the Philippines about 12 years ago and moved the rest of my family here a year later When living in the Philippines, I was a high school math teacher often exceeding 50 students per class

I have a green thumb, my family often complains that the house looks like a jungle Gardening is my art, and the soil is my canvas. I paint my yard with flowers and believe it gives the dog walkers, elementary students, and my neighbors positive energy when they see my creations. I love it when my neighbors ask to pick flowers to give to their loved ones and some neighbors even give me coffee grounds to encourage more plant growth. Right now I am helping my son Tristan with Southwest Vida's Gun Violence Prevention campaign by helping design the billboard and creating safety pledges for the youth But when I'm not busy with that, you'll catch me watering my plants!

UU. desde Filipinas hace unos 12 años y me mudé con el resto de mi familia aquí un año después Cuando vivía en Filipinas, era profesor de matemáticas en la escuela secundaria, a menudo excediendo los 50 estudiantes por clase

En este momento estoy ayudando a mi hijo Tristan con la campaña de prevención de la violencia armada de Southwest Vida ayudando a diseñar la cartelera y creando promesas de seguridad para los jóvenes. ¡Pero cuando no esté ocupado con eso, me atraparás regando mis plantas!

Hello! My name is Camila Hernandez, I am a part of the Southwest Vida youth team I am also currently a freshman at the University of Colorado Denver I joined Southwest Vida in October of 2022, and one of my favorite things about working here is being able to work with other young people who are passionate and have fun with what they do Outside of working at Southwest Vida, I love playing volleyball; I’ve been playing for about nine years. I’ve played competitively and I frequently play for fun with my friends too. Another activity I enjoy doing is baking for my family and friends. I find it relaxing and it gives me a sense of achievement. My current goal is to balance school, work, my social life, and exercise more often during the week.

Mi nombre es Camila Hernandez, soy parte del equipo de jóvenes en Southwest Vida También soy un estudiante de primer año en la Universidad de Colorado Denver en el centro Me uní a Southwest Vida en Octubre del 2022, y unas de mis cosas favoritas de trabajar aquí es poder trabajar con otros jóvenes apasionados que se divierten con lo que hacen en esta organización. Aparte de trabajar en Southwest Vida, me encanta jugar voleibol; llevo unos 9 años jugando. He jugado competitivamente y también juego frecuentemente para divertirme con mis amigos. Otra actividad que disfruto hacer es hornear para mi familia y amigos. Lo encuentro relajante y me da una sensación de logro. Mi meta ahorita es balancear con la escuela, el trabajo, mi vida social, y hacer ejercicio durante la semana.
