EMEA Customer Facing

Where do you live? Uppsala, Sweden, part NER How long have you worked for 3M? I joined 3M Sweden in October 2002.

What have you felt most proud of accomplishing? I have had the fortune of seeing several people that I have hired to 3M grow in the company and have fine careers, to try to help and support new 3Ms is a great responsibility to all 3M leaders.

What is your hidden talent? Not sure it is a talent, but I am very interested in everything related to food and wine , I enjoy cooking , it is a way for me to relax and think about other things then work. A well-cooked dover soul with capers, beetroot, lemon, and boiled potatoes is difficult to beat. .

Tell us about your family, who you live with? I have a small family; my parents had no siblings and I have no brothers and sisters either. I have two children; my daughter is studying at LIPA in the UK and my son is working as a teacher.

What things do you enjoy doing in your spare time? If in Sweden and during the summer, I try to spend time on water, I have a boat and like to go to the Stockholm archipelago , either staying on the boat or hopping between hotels. What is your favorite place to visit and why?

Istanbul , always Istanbul , to wake up early, listen to the minaret calling people to pray , walking down to the Bosporus, buying a Turkish coffee, and sitting watching Asia from the European side, ships passing by, a good way to start a day.

Would you Rather – winter or summer for the rest of your life and why? I am Swedish , so I have had my fair share of snow and cold, so I would prefer summer , but Swedish summer, 25C . If money was no issue at all, what would you buy? I am happy with my life and what I have , I don’t need more things. I guess if money was not an issue, I would support education and innovation , I am impressed by what 3M has been doing supporting various projects in developing countries as part of our leadership programs, I would be happy to be able to support similar projects.

Please share with us your favorite joke. Jokes are local and perhaps difficult to translate the real meaning, but let’s try. One farmer to the other “Andersson, do your cows smoke? Reply “No, they don’t”. “Then I think your barn is on fire ….. “

The CIR SIBG team has achieved historic results in the last few months while also having fun. The team has implemented different initiatives and projects to improve the collection of money, the closing of old outstanding accounts, improve the GFS +180 days process, as well as increase the knowledge and service to the customers auditing constantly and ensuring training and quality. All of this whilst also having fun, for example; playing BINGO during the last month where team members must complete actions such as collect 30k, bring an account up to date, increase productivity, drink 2 liters of water, take active breaks and spend time with family. These initiatives have resulted in obtaining the best results seen in the last 18 months. Without a doubt, an example of how you can work as one team, achieve your goals and have a good time!
