3MBS Fine Music Melbourne is Melbourne’s only local fine music radio station. We are volunteer-based and listener-funded, and serve an important role in the community as a hub for Melbourne’s classical music scene, accessible to musicians and music lovers alike. We are committed to supporting local performers and composers, and to promoting emerging talent. We aim to be the leading broadcaster of fine music by creating quality programs that are diverse, inclusive and inspiring. And we aim to bring you continuous listening pleasure, keeping you company with wonderful music throughout the day and night. On Air, the subscriber magazine of 3MBS, is published monthly in print and digital format. Each month we bring you stories from around the Australian music scene, as well as interviews with favourite presenters, profiles of much-loved composers, highlights from upcoming programs and, as always, a day-by-day guide to the wonderful music you'll hear on 3MBS this month.
