PAINT CORRECTION There are many different types and conditions of paint, including the varying types of damage. If the vehicle is not properly cared for, then the surface contamination can progress to irreversible damage. It is important to evaluate the defects to decide what type of correction process will be necessary to get your paint looking the best it can be. Most surface contamination can be corrected by washing and claying the vehicle. However, if “above surface paint contamination” sits on the paint long enough before getting cleaned, then it will eventually etch the clear coat. Therefore, it is important to maintain your vehicle periodically to prevent “irreversible paint damage”. HD products do not use fillers to cover up minor paint damage therefore; damage will not reappear after washing.
