3-FORCE stands for FMNR (part 2/3)

FMNR or Farmer Managed Natural Regeneration. In the Sahel, a farmer was regarded lazy as he did not cleared all the trees, on top of that farmers believed trees would decrease productivity. This tradition dates back to times when there was abundant precipitation and groundwater. Recently there were virtually no trees in Niger. Today, thanks to the formidable efforts of two champions: Tony Rinaudo and Peter Weston We count instead of 1Tree per hectare 40 up to 140Trees per hectare - good for more than 200million trees in Niger. Plant with 3-FORCE 100Trees per ha A quick and easy way to improve the living standards of farmers in the Sahel.
